COMMERCIAL STUDENT WORKER POSITION AT THE EMBASSY OF DENMARK IN BUDAPEST

The Trade Department of the Embassy of Denmark in Budapest is hiring a student worker for a fixed term of one year, between 1 August 2025 and 31 July 2026. The work schedule is flexible, on average requires 2-3 days a week, therefore, it is ideal for university students doing/starting their master’s program. The main objective of the position is to support the commercial activities of the Embassy with regard to Danish-Hungarian business relations and promoting Danish exports.

What will be your task?

  • Analyses
  • preparation of analyses, reports about several sectors of the economy;
  • preparation of analyses regarding EU-funding;
  • preparation of briefings for business meetings;
  • Market research
  • market research via internet, e-mail and telephone;
  • company research;
  • Supporting our business events
  • organisation of Embassy business events, and participation;
  • editing invitations, formal letters and follow-up on invitations
  • Communication
  • translations from Hungarian to English, English to Hungarian;
  • handling the social media accounts of the Embassy;
  • other administrative tasks.

 

Apply if you…

  • speak both English and Hungarian fluently and are familiar with the business terminology
  • are a proficient user of MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • have a general understanding of the Hungarian economy, business life, and like to follow the news
  • are interested in economic policies of the EU
  • are reliable and precise, good team player, but can also work independently and have outstanding communication skills.
  • are confident on the phone
  • are proactive and willing to ask questions
