Caretaker and driver position

General caretaker and deputy driver position at the Embassy of Denmark in Budapest with starting date as soon as possible . The position is full-time, 37 hours a week.

The Embassy is recruiting a dynamic, responsible and pro-active caretaker and deputy driver. We require a person who can deal with different tasks, has excellent organisational abilities and good teamwork skills.

The person is expected to show a high-degree of flexibility and be ready to contribute to handling tasks outside your immediate portfolio. The main tasks will include:

- Contact and coordination in relation to the maintenance of the Embassy and Residence

- Care-taking tasks including minor maintenance, moving furniture, changing of light bulbs, janitor services, standard tasks as taking care of the bins, minor gardening tasks at the Embassy and at the Residence of the Ambassador.

- Organising and co-ordinating delivery to and from the Embassy and Residence

- Driving the Embassy’s cars also for the Ambassador in the evenings and week-ends, if needed. 

Required qualifications:

- Preferably some technical background or experience

- Driving licence, cat. B

- Driving experience for several years, without accidents

- English language

- Police certificate of good conduct

Conditions and wage:

Starting date is as soon as possible.

The employment will be based on local terms and Hungarian labour market regulations. Working hours are 37 hours per week and occasional overtime should be expected. Salary will also take qualifications into account.
